1. When you hear the word distance education what comes first into your mind?

When I hear the word distance learning, i always thought that it was learning without physical contact and it is possible with the use of technology, and that is the learning process that happens nowadays because of the pandemic.


2. What do we mean by distance learning?

Distance learning is a process of learning using virtual mode, where students and teachers can no longer go to school, but with the presence of technology the learning process would be possible.


3. What did you observe in your activity?

The activity is all about naming the logo and the logo being presented are social networking sites and educational platforms used in distance learning.


4. Which educational online platform would you prefer the most? Why?

The educational platform which i prefer the most is using google classroom, because it is less hassle just using your google account you can now access and check your class you can also meet virtual by using google meet, and take exam by using google forms, in this platform you can easily create classes and perform your roles and function as a facilitator of learning as a student as well.


5. What do we mean by blended learning?

Blended learning is another way of handling flexible learning by combining modalities of instruction delivery; it is a combination of learning activities wherein a part of the lesson is delivered online while the other part is handled in actual physical setting of the classroom.


6. What do we mean by network?

A network is defined as that group of individuals who communicate and connects on a regular basis.


7. What are the different social networking platforms?

The different social networking platforms are facebook, twitter, linkedIn, google+, youtube, pinterest, instagram, tumblr, myspace, flickr and bebo.


8. Can social networking platforms be used in teaching and learning? How?

Yes it is possible that social networking platforms can be used in teaching and learning, in a way that students and teachers can create pages through these social networking sites, where everyone in the class can post and view where they gain knowledge and also share knowledge.


9. What do you think are the benefits of social networking sites?

Using this social networking website opens an array of benefits for users, the woprld has become a global village through connectivity, and they provide information and support learning or make educational activities.


10. What are the dangers of using social networking sites?

There is a big danger using these social networking sites, you might be hacked, experience cyber bullying, especially when you make friends with the stranger, trolls who instigate conflict and the biggest risk is addiction, where it can harm your health and might result to serious diseases.
